Part of Oak Forest’s mission is to share Christ and “BE the Body of Christ” through missions. Several long-standing mission projects:

B.E.A.R. Closet, Donna Love Deliveries and Helping Hands

On-going projects: providing a monthly meal to the homeless shelter and collecting flour and sugar for the crisis ministry. First Hope Ministries Davidson County (crisis ministry) needs self rising flour, sugar and corn meal (including Jiffy Corn bread mix) and individual sugar packets as well as 2-lb and 5-lb bags of sugar are also appreciated. Grain Sunday is always the first Sunday of the month. During the year, special events for local causes are planned as well.
